Dear parents, families and friends,
A massive well done to Grade 1 and Grade 2 this week for being instigators of change. Both classes chose to take action and to recognise the importance of looking after natural resources and taking care of our planet. Grade 1 students with the help of Ms Annie, Ms Kim Anh and parents, held a bake sale to raise money to plant trees in Africa, meanwhile Grade 2 students saw the value of their own resources by taking part in a book and toy swop.
This quarter saw the PYP Evaluation visit, which plays an important role in our school improvement. We will hopefully receive the report in 6-8 weeks.
I want to take this opportunity to wish you all a happy holiday and please remember to return to school on Wednesday 4th May. Students will begin swimming lessons, so make sure not to forget to check the times of swimming with the homeroom teacher or Mr Adam. Also a reminder is for children to wear hats to play on the field when they return after the break.
