Quarter 3 begins: Welcome back to school

Dear students, parents, colleagues

Welcome back from Winter break and Happy New Year. It’s been a long holiday, and I’m finding it hard to register that we start school again on Monday, but it’s true! I hope everyone had a good break.

As always, it’s a busy quarter coming up. Below is a list of some of the major events that are scheduled over the next few months. Most of these are on the calendar page published on the website and you should be able to subscribe to this via the Google Calendar button at the bottom, so this information shows on your own calendars. I will get the rest of the events added as quickly as possible.

I hope we will see the majority of our Secondary students and parents at the Student-Parent-Teacher meetings which will be held on the 10th February. These are an opportunity to discuss performance during the first semester, and to look at ways to improve in the latter half of the year. For Grade 10 & 12 students, these are especially important meetings as you will be able to discuss your performance in your mock examinations and establish priorities for the next few months until your Finals.

Once again, welcome back and here’s looking forward to a great Quarter 3.
